Description Locus 18 is largely a contextualized friable, deteriorating rock soil mottled with browns, reds, greys, and yellows. The soil in the central meter running north to south, while the same colors, is almost entirely a claylike in contrast possibly related to the circular stone feature which it abuts. The small concentration of relatively deteriorated materials, including terra cotta, pottery, and bone as well as carbon, found in Locus 18 come from the top 20-40cm after which no more artifacts are recovered. None of the few finds from Locus 18 are cataloged.
