Description Locus 2 is a light brown, sandy and loosely compacted soil. It is full of large and small rocks measuring approximately 5-45 centimeters in size as well as large and small roots. Locus II extended over the original trench. A large amount of material was recovered from this locus including large amounts of pottery, plaster and architectural tile and small amounts of bone. Most of the material recovered from this locus dates to the Archaic period, although a Medieval tile was also found, thus making this locus non-contextual. Two linear rock features running west to east were found in Locus 2. Both features aligned with features found in T-75 (KRCI) to the immediate west and T-66 (KD II) to the immediate east of T-76. The rock feature through the southern extent of the trench, at approximately 47 measured approximately 1.2 meters in width. The second feature running through the northern extent of the trench at about 45 S measured approximately 25 cm in width.
