The weather this morning was very warm and clear. The forecast for the day is warm with total clarity.

Excavation began with the definition of rocks and removal of soil through the northern extent of the trench. Careful attention will be paid to the rocks present through the extent of the trench to gain a better understanding of the relationship between T - 76 and T - 75 to the West and T - 66 to the East. Currently, there is a line of rocks running east to west approximately 70 cm south of the northern wall. The rocks present in the southern extent of the trench measure approximately 95 cm south of the northern

feature. While clearing the loose dirt, a tooth fragment (Special Find #1) was found.

The dirt between the two rock features is producing high amounts of tile and small amounts of pottery. This is a significant difference in comparison with the area to the north of the rocks and to the south of the rocks where very little amounts of material have been recovered. Currently, there are large tiles present in the soil between the two rock features.

Post-lunch, the leveling of the soil and defining of the rocks continued between the two rock features. The soil is loosely compacted and full of small roots. Larger terracotta tile pieces are still visible in the soil. Small amounts of pottery are being recovered.
