AM
After work in T-76 passed in order to concentrate on other areas of excavation to the east, work in T-76 reconvened in order to remove the remainder of the baulk between T-76 and T-66 (KDII). The soil was broken up with a pickaxe then shoveled into buckets and hand sorted into wheelbarrows.
Small concentrations of terracotta, pottery, and bone have been recovered from the baulk wall.
Most of the baulk has been removed and work is now focusing on leveling out the trench floor in the northeast corner.

Once the soil was cleared roots were clipped until lunch

The afternoon began with hand picks and trowels to level out the remainder of the baulk wall that was removed this morning. Additionally, leveling also occurred along the eastern extent of the trench in attempt to better define the rocks present
in that area. The soil was then hand sorted into buckets.
Work on leveling continued until the end of the day and a closing elevation for the northeast corner was taken.
