Description |
Locus 6 is a rectangular worked limestone measuring 0.18m by 0.12m about 0.54m north of the northern extent of Locus 2 on the same axis. Locus 6 is a worked stone feature that aligns with the stone column pad of Locus 5. Locus 6 is one of several such worked stones that lie on the same axis as the column pads of the workshop. It may have functioned as a column pad for a significantly smaller column to add additional support to the edge of the OC2/Workshop roof in the area of Locus 5. Further excavation is needed to determine the function of Locus 6. |
