It was decided to extend the section under the plaster floor surface of Locus 4 in order to determine the extent of the reddish brown soul in Locus 32. A one meter extension was laid out to the east of Locus 32 and Locus 28. The section was opened as Locus 34 and is composed of the highly compacted plaster floor surface of the Workshop/OC2 structure. Locus 25 was also closed as much of it was excavated in order to remove Locus 30. The tiles revealed ti the east in Locus 25 were opened as part of Locus 33.

Excavation began in Locus 34, excavating through the plaster surface. Small rocks, some pieces, of pottery, terracotta, and bone are being found within the plaster. While using a small handpick, a fragment of a rocchetto was found within the plaster (Special Find #26). The plaster slopes from north to south and is ca. 2.5 cm thick at the northern extent and 8 cm thick at the southern extent.

In Locus 24 defining and removal of small fragments of tile continues. The defining and removal of tiles aims to clarify the articulation of the more complete pan tiles. A fragment of a flange that was restign upside down on top of a pan tile was removed and found to join with a flat tile fragment below it. Further flange fragments were found close by. The pan tile preserves a full length and appears to have red slip. The tile is worped and is vitrifying on one end. Rhe tile preserved a notched flange and deep mold marks (Special Find #28).
