25 July 2023 AM Excavation began in Locus 34 continuing the section through the floor surface, A thin layer of plaster remains throughout the entirety of the locus. Small hand picks, trowels, and brushes were used to continue to lower the locus across its entire extent. A dark soil, similar to the soil of Locus 28 in color and compaction was revealed in the eastern extent of the locus. In Locus 33, excavation continued using trowels and brushes in the eastern extent of the locus. While sorting soil into buckets by hand a possible feline antefix fragment was found (Special Find #35).

Work was paused due to rain and the trench was tarped.
