Description |
Locus 34 is a section of the OC2/Workshop’s plaster floor surface measuring 1 meter wide and 2 meters long. The surface of the locus is highly compacted pinkish-brown plaster. Locus 34 lies between a northern and middle column base and is a 1 m extension to the west of the section opened as Locus 27. The paster floor surface is ca. 0.10 meters. The locus is surrounded by Locus 4, which is the southern part of the OC2/Workshop floor, and was sectioned through in order to better understand the stratigraphy and the previous phases of occupation in the workshop space before the Orientalizing period. It is equal to loci 2,4, and 16. A rocchetto fragment was found during excavation of the plaster floor (PC20230066). Other bulk finds include small amounts of ceramic, terracotta, and bone. |
