Description |
Locus 21 is a 0.48m by 0.50m cut in the plaster floor surface of Locus 4. The cut is rectilinear in form with no distinct corners. The cut was filled by a soil deposit excavated as Locus 15. The fill is composed of a compacted brown soil and clay mixture with inclusions of pottery, bone, vitrified material, and small rocks. The cut in the floor may relate to the cut of Locus 22 to the west but the function of both cuts is not immediately clear. |
