[61] 19 July 2019 AM The morning began with photos taken of the floor surface of Locus 6 and Locus 11. Excavation began in Locus 10 to remove the compacted clay and reveal the extent of the sloping plaster. A fragment of a terracotta artifact was defined and photographed and recorded as Special Find #24. Once revealed, the fragment proved to be plaster.

[63] The sloping plaster was found to continue under the clay like soil for the extent of 58cm in length and 47cm in width at the largest extent. The area around the floor and the collapsed plaster was defined using small brushes, small picks, leaf trowels, and trowels.
The area of Locus 9 which abuts Locus 4 was lowered using handpicks and trowels. The soil was sorted by hand into buckets and was found to have many inclusions of carbon, small rocks, hard packed soil. While sorting, a diagnostic bone (Special Find #25), along with a second diagnostic bone (Special Find #26).
