Work continued across the trench. Rocks in the east of the trench were further exposed. In the north-western part of the trench a dark patch emerged. Owing to the uncovering of rocks and the soil change, work began to prepare the trench for the declaration of a three, separate, new loci.

Loci 2 , 3 , and 4 were declared. Locus 2 consists of large rocks in the NE and centre of the trench. Soil between rocks is a dark to medium brown, and clay like in texture. Locus 3 consists of a very dark brown soil that is located in the NW corner of the trench. Locus 4 is the remainder of the trench. Soil is a medium brown and clay-like in texture.

Work began excavating the three new loci. Previously photos and sketch were completed. Locus 3 produced one piece of tile and one sherd of modern pottery. After this the soil began to disappear in Locus 3 and the soil is now a medium-brown, consistent with Locus 4 ; consequently, it was decided to close Locus 3 and integrate it into Locus 4 .
