| Description | Locus 3 lies in the north-west area of the trench, below part of Locus 1. It consists of a very dark soil, humus like in texture. Locus 3 is a dark area and is surrounded by Locus 4. It is possibly the remains of a decayed tree. One sherd of pottery and a few fragments of tile were recovered from the Locus. Locus 3 was merged into Locus 4. |
