Description Locus 2 lies beneath part of Locus 1. It is trapezoidal in shape. It consists of a series of large rocks (10 to 30 cm in size). They are situated in the north-east area of the trench, and continue into the southern central meter of the trench. The soil is dark to a medium brown, and clay like in texture. Relatively little material was recovered from Locus 2 (less than 50 sherds of pottery and one bowl of tile). A sherd of glazed pottery was also found. Locus 2 lies above Locus 5.
