Description Locus 4 lies in the western half of the trench and the south-east meter, partly below Locus 1. It borders Locus 2, and Locus 3 initially was within Locus 4, but on July 1st was incorporated into Locus 4. Locus 4 consists of medium-to-dark brown soil. It has a large rock (c. 30 cm in size) in the south-east of the trench. A half-bowl of worn tile and 3 sherds of pottery were recovered during excavation. Locus 4 lies above Locus 5.
