Description Locus 4 covered the southeastern corner of the trench, abutting Locus 5 and lying under Locus 3. Locus 4 equated to Locus 10. The soil here was clay-like and brownish in color, and contained almost no stones. The soil is brown and clay-like with very few rocks or artifacts. Tile, very little bone, and pottery were recovered. This locus produced the most amount of bucchero out of all the loci in the trench; the fragments were mostly concentrated in the southeastern corner of the trench. Locus 4 produced no clear chronological indicators.
