Description Locus 5 was the northeastern corner of the trench where a lot of stones were present, and there was a sharp delineation between Loci 4 and 5 along the southern border. Locus 5 abutted Locus 4 and lay underneath Locus 3. It was also equated to Locus 11, and was the high part of the soil packing that lay under Locus 8. Locus 5 produced almost no artifacts; a single piece of pottery was recovered, as well as a few small eroded pieces of tile. This locus produced no clear chronological indicators.
