Trench Description | Trench F9 is a 5 by 5 meter unit located on the south side of trench F7. This unit was originally excavated as a sounding (Trench F3). In 2001 the designation of this trench was changed to F9. This trench is characterized by a number of ash layers and several large pits that may belong to a barn or stable. |
