Opening elevations were taken. They were:
- A: 26.90 m AE
- B: 26.905 m AE
- C: 26.89 m AE
- D: 26.94 m AE
- E: 26.87 m AE
The northern portion of the trench was leveled with trowels. During leveling, a burned seed was found.
P.M.
The northern portion of the trench continued to be leveled with trowels and a group of rocks began to be defined. To the east of the rocks, a heavily carbonized soil began to be uncovered, so a portion of the southern half of the trench was pickaxed, where the distinctly mottled soil remained. A piece of bucchero, possibly belonging to the chalice associated with the struts found earlier, was found.
