Baulk shaving along northern baulk of trench in preparation for refinement of profile L-M/64-71 1989.

2.   O/65-66  Stump

Furhter cleaning on sides and base of stump in O-N/65-66.  As noted previously on NM II, p. 227 , pithos fragments in association with this stump may relate to further pithoi fragments throughout area along division of O-N/66-67.  A large pithos base was discovered in O/66 c. 93 cm.  The stump was removed by under-cutting and remains to be cleaned.  A roughly diamond shaped area in O-N/66-65 remains from approx. 80 cm down to be removed.

3.   Because orage/red ware brought out of M-O/64-71* has joined with some of those of 1988 P-R/65-71, it was decided that potential information could be retrieved by plotting distribution on a map (see NM II, p. 259 ) showing meters M-O/65-66.  *particularly M-O/64-66
