4 Loci produced painted tile fragments in T26. Locus 12 produced the most with 23 piece of painted tile fragments, equaling 46% of all painted tile found. Locus 9 produced the heaviest weight with 1957 grams. This equaled 36% of the total weight recovered. Locus 12 and Locus 9 produced the most painted tile while Locus 13 and Locus 5 both produced significantly smaller amounts. In total, 50 painted tile fragments were discovered, and these finds weighed a combined 4219 grams. The painted tile fragments preserve a deep red or purple color on fragments of roofing tiles.
