Photographs of locus 5 rock formation cut # 2 were taken and work began by excavating into cut #2 moving from the west to the east. More material is being uncovered as cut #2 was excavated.

Once cut #3 was excavated and all of the rocks exposed, photographs and drawings on millimeter paper were done for cut #4. In addition,

cut #3 revealed once piece of slag and a few pieces of impasto and fine impasto pottery as well as some worn pieces of tile. A soil sample was taken from cut #3 to test the soil for lipids. Cut #4 consists of medium sized rocks and the same dark brown soil as before.

The rocks in cut #4 are appearing larger than previously expected. Once all the loose dirt was picked up, end of day elevations were taken. The total number of sieved buckets was 3, with only one sherd of pottery being recovered.
