Work began using trowels defining and removing any loose rocks in cut #4, moving from east to west. The soil appearing is the same dark brown soil as all the previous cuts, with the yellow flaky soil appearing at the edges. Once the larger rocks were defined and exposed, photographs were taken and excavation of the rocks continued.

Work continued excavating into the rock formation in locus 5 , cut #6. Medium sized rocks are now appearing in the east as well as light yellow brown flaky soil appearing in the northwest and starting to extend throughout the formation in locus 5 . However, there continues to be material recovered within the yellow brown flaky soil. There also seems to be a dark brown flaky decaying rock filled soil in the west half of the rock formation cut #7, which is the same soil consistent with the soil uncovered in the northwest corner of locus 4 . Now that the flaky yellowish brown soil has been exposed throughout the rock formation in locus 5 , closing photos and soil samples were taken.

Now that locus 5 is closed, it was decided that excavation for the rest of the 2014 season should be halted in T 60. Therefore, work was focused on scraping down the entire trench to expose the original soil and munsell designations were taken for loci 2 , 3 , and locus 5 today. Once all the loose dirt was picked up, end of day elevations were taken.
