19 July 2024 AM Tiles continue to be defined throughout the extent of the tile fall. Due to the continued work with T26 in the 2022 and 2023 seasons it was decided to continue the locus numbers from where they left off in T26 2023. Locus 1 will therefore become Locus 38, Locus 2 will become Locus 39 and Locus 3 will become Locus 40. The numbers will be updated in the digitized paperwork. Defining of tiles continues throughout the trench. Roots were clipped and loose soil was brushed and removed. A tile fall has been found throughout Locus 40.

PM Defining tiles continues throughout the trench. The area in one northernmost extent of the trench was lowered using handpicks and trowels. A small fragment of bronze that may be a folded bronze sheet was found (special find #21). In the same meter as the bronze, a fragment of slipped pottery was found (special find #22).
