22 July 2024 AM Tiles were defined throughout the trench. Small hand picks, trowels, a leaf trowel, and dust pans were used to define the tiles throughout the trench. A small patch of carbon was found among the tiles close to the northern edge of Locus 39. This section of carbon appears to preserve a structure similar to carbonized wood. The carbon measures 0.20m in length and is exposed to a max width of 0.06m. A second fragment of carbon was also found in the central meter of the trench close to a group of rocks. This section of carbon measures 0.14m in length and 0.05m wide. Tiles continue to be defined.

PM Tiles continue to be defined using trowels, hand picks, and brushes. Excavation was paused due to rain.
