Due to rain in the evening and overnight, no excavation done in T 62.

While Locus 11 remains too muddy for excavation, Locus 12 has dried enough to be excavated. In the western most portion of Locus 12 the soil is being removed with hand picks in order to carefully excavate around the area in which the stones are appearing in Locus 11 . In the central portion and the south, pick axe used to break up the soil, especially around and under the stumps. Pottery and terra cotta recovered in small concentrations. Three buckets sieved, no artifacts recovered. In the southeast corner, a fragment of non-local stone recovered.

One bucket sieved, no artifacts recovered. Another bucket sieved, no artifacts found. In the southwest corner of Locus 12 , the soil has been leveled down to about 10-15cm above the level of Locus 11 . A fragment of bone recovered from the area around the stumps. One bucket sieved, a fragment of coarseware 3cm in length recovered. A fragment of vitrified terra cotta found south of the largest stump.

semi-circular curve with approximately a meter diameter to the extent that they have currently been revealed. From the center of those stones, a possible diagnostic bone found.

The semi-circular curved stone formation has now been revealed more completely and preserves seemingly a complete ring. The stones which comprise it are between 30 and 60cm in length.

The interior has several large fragments of tile and pottery in situ within it at the same elevation. The entire ring feature is west of all the stumps, but permeated by roots of small diameter. The feature is at a higher elevation at the north and slopes at a shallow angle downward towards the south. Trowels used to completely define the rocks and terra cotta for photographs before the end of work today. In definition along the northeast outer edge of the feature, a bronze pin fragment found.
