Description	Locus 12 is a dense, clay-like, light brown-yellowish soil. Three stumps forty to sixty centimeters in diameter are present in the southeastern sector of Locus 12. Stones five to fifteen centimeters in length are included the soil in the western and northern meters. Upon excavation in the northern meter, the thin, linear stone feature of Locus 4 was seen to continue at a more robust width of up to eighty centimeters for a length of a meter and a half before disappearing between the largest stump. In the southwestern sector of the locus an annular stone feature, comprised of stones twenty to forty centimeters in length and one meter in diameter, was revealed in excavation. Terra cotta, pottery, and bone found. Special finds include iron, bronze, slag, vitrified terra cotta, ridged pottery, and non-local stone. The soil pack was relatively shallow--between zero and nineteen centimeters deep. Locus 12 is equivalent to Locus 3, Locus 5, Locus 8, and Locus 11.
