Description Locus 11 is a light brown-yellowish, claylike soil equivalent to Locus 5 and Locus 8 which lay directly above it. The locus was only designated as a new locus in order to investigate the area south of the linear stone feature as a whole. The base of a coarseware vessel fifteen to twenty centimeters wide present on the surface. Many fragments of terra cotta, pottery, and bone found. Special finds include a spindle whorl, a rocchetto fragment, bronze, slag, vitrified terra cotta, ridged pottery, incised pottery, molded pottery, coilmade pottery, burnt bone, and antler. The soil pack was relatively shallow--between zero and eleven centimeters deep. Locus 11 is equivalent to Locus 3, Locus 5, Locus 8, and Locus 12.
