Condition | All surfaces are heavily worn, pitted, and encrusted. The upper surfaces of the tile preserves lines of slip. Numerous large inclusions are visible throughout the fabric. |
Description | A ridgepole tile fragment preserves a portion of a finished edge that increases in thickness from one end to the other. The interior surface of the tile has portions of two possible finger marks near the break edge opposite the finished edge. On the exterior surface, also near the break edge opposite the finished edge are two lines of dark red slip. One line is straight and at a diagonal, measuring 0.070 m in pres. length. The other line intersects the first, then curves out and away. At the break edge the two lines are 0.036 m apart. |
