Earth Remarks Shallower depth in NE quadrant which was divided into L 13 after L 10 was excavated to a depth of about .50 m; very firm within area defined by stones of Pit 11 & above & immediately S of Wall 12; after discovery of Wall 12, L 10 was divided into 4 quadrants to provide sub balks to tie together 4 walls which boxed in digging area and blocked access to balks; Iron 2 lamp and 2-3 mendable vessels found in SE quadrant (lower portion adjacent to & at level of similar finds in L 13) cooking pot found in SW quadrant (T=912.26 B=912.00); other mendable frags in NW quadrant
