Earth Remarks Extent not clearly traceable; soil between 3 walls & N balk taken up with Surf 9; appears to seal against Wall 7 and possibly against Wall 4; surface noticed after L 5 was excavated to a somewhat lower depth adjacent to Walls 4 & 6, which may thus indicate surface was taken up with L 5 in those areas; surface clearly evident in Loca 14 & 20; small portions of mud brick in Loca 28; gravelly area concentrated in Loca 22 & 16
