Description Locus 65 is the soil below the blockage within the eastern north niche (part of Locus 82) of the bathroom. The soil is a fine loose silt/sand (Munsell 10 YR 4/3 brown), with inclusions of plaster, pottery, glass, small stones and bone. The soil is likely the result of dumping for the filling in of the niche just before its blockage. Locus 65 is therefore phased to Stage 5.
