Description | Fragment is pentagonal in top view and slightly curved in cross section. The surface preserves an incised design consisting of: a guilloche pattern with raised concentric dots bordered on both sides by incised lines which run parallel to the square finished base. Above, two volutes curve up and in and are joined by a horizontal bar thus forming a triangular aperture. Both volutes and the horizontal bar have two parallel incised lines. |
