Description A fragment of plaster with a finished edge and face preserving several reed impressions. One edge has two parallel reed impressions, the first 0.007m in width and max. pres. length of 0.093m, the second 0.008m in width and max. pres. length of 0.133m, separated by a slightly raised projection of 0.011m in width. Perpendicular to this edge, and separated by a raised projection of 0.006m in width, on the face of the fragment are two more parallel reed impressions. The first from the edge is 0.014m in width and max. pres. length of 0.164m, while the second is 0.014m in width and max. pres. length of 0.0166m, separated from one another by a raised projection of 0.005m in width. Adjacent to the second reed impression on the face is a raised portion of plaster with a somewhat diagonal reed impression which at one edge extends below the plane created by the second reed impression on the face and at the other end extends above it. The diagonal is projecting at an approximately thirty-five degree angle. The width of this reed impression is 0.016m and the max. pres. length 0.065m. Parallel to the first diagonal reed impression is a second, oriented in the same fashion. They are separated from one another by a raised portion 0.038m in height and 0.023m in width. This second diagonal impression is 0.021m in width and max. pres. length of 0.049m. The opposite face is unfinished and amorphous, having many bulbs and concavities.
