Description | This wall comprises the western half of the section (8.40 m in length) of the East Corridor Wall between the north and Central Doorways. The wall is composed of six-to-eight courses of roughly hewn limestone blocks. The average height of these stones is approximately 0.42 m, and the average width is 0.30-0.70 m. The outer, western face of the wall was probably plastered. Both the construction of the North Doorway (Locus 2) and the Central Doorway (Locus 23), as well as the application of layers of mud, adhered this wall to that on the east side of the East Corridor Wall (Locus 4). |
