Description | This locus is one of seven loci (2, 3, 4, 27, 23, 25, 28) which together comprise the eastern wall of the East Corridor Wall. It extends between the north and central doorways. Finely dressed sandstone and limestone ashlars compose the casemate wall. The wall is 7-8 courses high. The courses of the wall consist of alternating headers and stretchers. The average size of the headers is 0.36 m-by-0.33 m, and the average size of the stretchers is 1.38 m-by-0.45 m. |
