Earth Remarks Color also ranges up to 10YR 6/2 - light yellowish brown; ash & charcoal heavy by Wall 11; burned wood along Wall 11 at Loca 16 taken for C14 & species testing; many ashy pockets; bits of carbonized wood 2 m from N balk; collared pithoi 1 & 2 in situ at Loca 9 along Wall 9; cobble to boulder -sized stone tumble mixed with patches of hard clay-like soil, loose silt, ash pockets, & bricky debris; Pithoi 3 & 4 in S part of room at Loca 26 & 27 not in situ; flat lying stones in SW corner are top of Platform 32; objects not in situ, mainly from grinding operations; a very few IR2 sherds are prob intrusive
