We began clearing brush and trimming grass to enhance visibility for excavation. We then began cleaning up the northern face (to be referred to as section 3) and the southern face (to be referred to as section 4) of the T-22 West extension as well as the western face (northwestern region will be referred to as Section 1 and the southwestern section will be referred to as section 2) of T-22 using trowels, handpicks, and clippers, and laupers, focusing on eroded areas of the baulk walls. The precise locations of trenches are to be determined within this region, it is for this circumstance that material gathered will be classified by section and not by trench. For later reference, please see trench layout for the season.

Work continues, cleaning up the regions as previously defined in the morning. Minimal material is being recovered, however, is being documented according to the sections specified.

A rocchetto fragment was discovered just west of the northern face of the T-22 west extension in the baulk wall.
