Work continues preparing sections 1-4 to be photographed and stratigraphically drawn and documented. Upon analysis of the stratigraphy, we noted what appears to be a burn layer. To closely study the area at the bottom of the baulk walls which appears to be a burn layer, we will be separating materials discovered from the burn layer region of the stratigraphy.
Just north of the discovered rocchetto fragment from the previous day, a piece of worked bone was discovered while cleaning up the northern face of the T-22 west extension. The piece of bone was discovered just below what appears to be a burn layer in the stratigraphy. It is about 8.5 cm long and about 1cm wide. It appears to have a single worked edge.
Special find #2: Worked bone

While completing the baulk trim along the northern confines of the T-22 west extension, a bone bead was discovered, coordinates and a range of elevations were taken. It is about 2cm in length and 1/2cm wide with what appears to be a hexagonal shape. It was found in an area with a stratigraphic unit corresponding to what appears to be a burn layer.

A piece of pottery with slag was discovered from the tile bowl and is being recorded as a supplemental find. A range of elevation and coordinates were taken.

Supplemental find #40
While cleaning Section 3, a diagnostic bone was discovered cleaning the northern face of the T-22 west extension. It is uncertain whether it will fall under the confines of T-91 or T-92. The bone was recorded under EC XII for T-91 on page 21.
