T1 AN Trench T1 AN was extended towards the east, so as to join tr. T1 AM. The extension measures 5 x 4.15m. The topsoil was taken off in grid G-H, 1-3, starting from the northern end. This and the second layer produced 8 boxes of tiles, with the concentration increasing towards the middle (south) of the trench. At 0.50m from the northern edge a line of stones appeared in the topsoil, running west to east, in line with the possible returns of the walls in T1 AM and T1 AN. South of this line of stones, sima fragments (19680751) began to appear both in the topsoil and the second layer, seemingly in pockets, as a continuation of the sima

fragments found in T1 AL grid G 1-2. Mixed in with the sima fragments were pieces of banquet frieze, well preserved with sharp and district lines.
