T1 AN Trench T1 AN was cleaned. In order to define the end (turn?) of the wall, the trench was extended 1m, see plan p. 219. West of the wall, in the southwest corner is a layer of red (burnt) soil, ca 20cm deep. There were stones at the northern part of the eastern edge which might indicate a turn ( ). The pottery found was concentrated to the area west of the wall, mostly cups fired (?) red. One rocchetto was found, with a pattern on both ends.
. Two boxes of tiles were dumped. The profile at the strip left towards the south shows that the wall was surrounded by tiles and pottery in a heavy concentration. From the wall itself rises the clay wall, mentioned on
