T 62, a four by two meter trench, was triangulated off of the 95 E baseline. Opening photographs and opening elevations of Locus 14 taken:

The new 2015 excavation boundaries of T 62 extend the trench about 50cm to the south, therefore this southern-most spit of unexcavated soil will be brought down to the same elevation as the current trench surface. Excavation begun in Locus 14 , this spit of unexcavated soil. It is a humus layer, dark brown and heavily included with organic material, which has hardened due to exposure to the elements over the last year. Excavation carried out by breaking up the soil with a pick axe, sorting the soil by hand with trowels, and clearing the soil away in buckets. Three pick passes completed through the dark brown humus layer. Many roots and small stones of 5-10cm included in the soil pack. Very little material present, but some small worn pieces of terra cotta and pottery recovered. Two more pick passes revealed the same soil and a few more fragments of terra cotta and pottery before excavation was completed when the level of the rest of T 62 was achieved.
