Trench Layout
The boundaries of T 62 were laid out by a baseline extended from 96E, initially laid out using a baseline shot with the transit off the grid point PC 6 and a second baseline extending from it at a ninety degree angle. Using triangulation a two by four meter trench was established with the northwest corner at a location of 92E/53S.
The coordinates of the four corners of T 62 at the start of the 2015 season are as follows:
NW corner: 92E/53S
NE corner: 96E/53S
SE corner: 96E/56S
SW corner: 92E/56S
A datum point of 25.99m AE was established on a tree one meter west of T 62.
