1U Excavation of a third course down to just over the wall (65cm) was begun. Some pottery.
1W Small irregular stones began to appear in an irregular pattern which blanketed most of the southern hall of the trench. The line of the southern wall disintegrated entirely, although there were several large stones at that end. Another foot was found; location unknown.
