Very few organic materials were recovered from T26 in 2024. Except for two large carbon deposits left in situ in Locus 41, few samples of carbon were large enough to collect.
In Locus 40, a soil and plaster layer associated with the collapse of the OC2/Workshop roof, 6 carbonized seeds (PC20240051) were recovered. The carbonized seeds have not yet been identified due to time constraints. We await analysis of these organic remains in 2025, which may yield further data on the organic materials associated with T26 in 2025.
