Locus 41 is a collapse layer composed of a tile fall of broken roof tiles that extend across the entire locus. The tiles overlie the northern edge of the OC2/ workshop floor (Locus 39). The tiles are coursed, with two layers of tile exposed. In the area between the tiles, a darker brown soil was revealed and left unexcavated. Two large inclusions of tile are visible between the tiles, the first at 26.68mAE and the second at 26.67mAE. As the tile fall extends to the north, the tile fall is more densely populated with tiles
Opening/ Closing Locus 41 (Tile Fall) and Final Trench Drawing:
But the fragments of tile are smaller compared to those on the eastern side of the trench. Locus 41 was left unexcavated due to time constraints. Closing locus photos, closing trench photos, and a closing OC2/ workshop area photogrammetric model were taken. T26 was closed for the 2024 season.
