Hand picks were used to lower the surface of Locus 6 . Two special finds and a rim with pottery in situ were uncovered so it was decided to use trowels to continue scraping.

Several large roots were removed using a saw. An area of compacted soil was uncovered in the central area of the trench, just south of the large root in the north. A tooth, small to medium sized rock and piece of terracotta were uncovered on top of this surface.
