Because of the fragil enature of the coarse impasto fragment uncovered in S-W corner of N 4 W 1 yesterday a conservator was brought up to the site in order to consult on the method of excavation. It was decided to excavate around the fragment, undercut the soil beneath and lift if with the surrounding soil. The fragment was designated as a new locus, locus 14. It will be further excavated in conservation magazzino.

two pottery pieces, 1 red ware and 1 coarse ware were found next to the large fragment, and were designated as locus 11 finds.
