Bone Summary

Overall, bone was scarce in CA42N.  No bone was found in locus 1 and only 1 fragment in locus 2.  However, high concentration of bone fragments occured in the "feature" and around it.

All bone came from olive brown soil: loci 4, 7, and 9 produced 30 bone fragments (abuot 180g); locus 10- 360 bones (1150g), including 15 teeth; loci 5, 11, 13- 550 fragments (1320g), including numerous teeth and jaw bones and 6 bluish-white burnt fragments; locus 14- 55 fragments (208g) including 7 teeth; locus 15- 17 fragments (40g).

All bones were fragmentary and included boar, sheep/goat, bird/rabbit.  only 1 had cut works (locus 11, #4 p. 109 ).  Also what appears to be a human molar was found in locus 5 (#2 p. 57 ).
