Work began on the baulk wall in the original trench around the tree. Afterwards, the entire trench was scraped down to the elevation of CA-83 .

Work continued scraping down the original trench, defining the rocks. Locus 2 was closed and closing elevations were taken. Locus 6 was munselled because the soil was too wet for accurate readings yesterday. Locus 6's munsell designation is 7.5 YR, 4/2, brown. Locus 2's munsell designation is 7.5 YR, 4/3, brown.
