Description Locus 6 has a soil type consistent with that of locus 2 and 4, containing a yellowish-brown claylike soil throughout the second extension. It is filled with roots and organic material, with the large stump still remaining in the northeast corner, which will eventually be removed. There was a significant amount of terracotta, pottery, slag, and a few pieces of bone recovered from this locus, along with a few fragments of vitrified terracotta. Some catalogued finds were recovered in this locus, such as, a couple pieces of slag(20130123)and (20130223) and a large iron nail (20130210).
